From the three pictures I have as an example above, you can easily see the amount of detail and tone that is used. The direction of light which is giving of the shadow effect on each object in the picture brings out the 3D effect in my opinion. Not much colour is used in Giger's work, it's usually a lot of blacks and greys which I like. His work looks very sci-fi based
